The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Anambra State Command has received the royal blessings of Igwe Romanus Iloh, the traditional ruler of Nise town, Awka South Local Government Area, Anambra State.
The blessing came during a condolence visit by State Commandant Comdt. Maku to the palace in Nise on July 10, 2024, to commiserate with the royal family over the demise of Prince Azubuike Iloh, the crown prince of Nise.
Igwe Iloh praised the Corps’ efforts in maintaining law and order, protecting critical national assets, and urged them to continue their good work.
He assured the Corps of Nise town’s support and cooperation in ensuring the success of NSCDC activities in the state.
Comdt. Maku expressed condolences over the death of the crown prince and briefed the traditional ruler on the Corps’ recent activities, including Anti Sit-at-home order operations, arrests of illegal miners and impostors of private security outfits.
He commended the traditional institution for their support and sought further collaboration to stamp out criminal elements from Anambra State.
This royal blessing has boosted the morale of NSCDC personnel in Anambra State, and the Corps is grateful for the support and encouragement of the traditional ruler.
