The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, will be celebrated at a National Youth Symposium marking his 60th birthday.
The event, themed “From clicks to progress: Empowering youths through self-reliance raising the bar in society,” will take place on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Victoria Garden Conference & Event Centre, Alausa Ikeja, Lagos.
According to the event organizer, Otunba Ademola Popoola during an interview session with the convener Societal Concerns, Amb. Oluwayomi Oluwapelumi:
“It is very good to celebrate an icon, describing the deputy Governor as a man with integrity. It is a privilege for me to be part of the committee that is celebrating this iconic man, so I am excited.”
Otunba Ademola hinted at surprises in store for the Deputy Governor, saying:
“My team and I have a lot of surprises for His Excellency that we wouldn’t want to reveal now, but surely the youths of Lagos and its citizenry would know who Dr. Obafemi Hamzat is on the 26th of September, 2024, where the icon himself will feed the youths with his experience and share part of his brain.”
