Loveable Ladies Social Club Marks 1st Anniversary with Award of Excellence.
The loveable ladies social club, a non governmental organisation established by people of same interest with the sole aim of financially equipping it’s members.
The club on Saturday June 3rd 2023, marked it’s first anniversary of existence with an award of excellence to their patron, matron and other sponsors of the association.
Delivering the opening remark, President of loveable ladies social club Chief Mrs Temitayo Lawal appreciate every guest that graced the occasion and also facilitate with the awardees.
Alhaji Jamiu Ogunjimi AKA. Ajaga while delivering the keynote address urges members of the club to relate in love and pray for the progress of the club.
In an interview session with journalists at the event Otunba Buhari Tajudeen Alao, a civil Servant advice members of the club to make the family their primary responsibility as it comes first and also help eachother individually. In his words,”In gathering together, we have lots of things to derive from ourselves but my first advice is for them to never abandon their responsibilities at home which is primary .
Let them find a way to excel individually by setting up self empowerment projects.”
Elder Shoyinka Moruff, one of the awardee appreciate the club for recognising his good deeds in the society and advice them to coexist in love as it is the greatest gift of all.
Mrs Folashade Olaniyi AKA Ajoke Diamond, who happens to be the mother of the day got decorated as the club’s matron. She wishes all the awardees well and also pray the club never diminish.
The Patron of the Club Otunba Orotegbe, CEO Ote Oil and Gas commend the club members for coming to together with the great initiative and beseech them to set out Projects that will be of their benefit and the society at large.
The loveable ladies social club which started with ten members now have 20 members.
The Treasurer of the club Mrs Alonge Bose, Said the purpose of the club was to financially help each other. Speaking on future projects, she said the club is presently working on acquiring an estate for it’s members.
The Club was founded by Mrs Ajimajasan Zainab.
The actor, who is currently on a pilgrimage to the Islamic Holy Land, via his Instagram page, shared photos of himself praying on Friday.
He captioned the post: “In these sacred moments of prayer, I lift my heart to the heavens for all of you. May Allah shower His blessings upon each of you and grant you all the strength, joy, and guidance you seek in your lives. And as I stand on this holy ground today, I also remember the soul of MohBad.

Nigeria Updates recall that, the Jagun Jagun director had on Saturday, September 16 paid tribute to Mohbad in a post on Instagram.
“In memory of Mohbad, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, a star whose musical brilliance graced the world.
“Though your life was tragically cut short, your music remains a testament to your resilience and artistry. ‘Imole,’ meaning ‘Light’ in Yoruba, was your name, and you lived up to it by illuminating the lives of many.
“Rest in power, Imole,” he wrote.
Jimmy Odukoya, the newly appointed lead pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, has addressed controversies trailing his appearance as a clergyman.
Nigeria Updates recalls that the announcement of Jimmy as the lead pastor after his father’s death, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, generated controversy on social media, with many critics questioning his dreads, tattoos and movie roles.
Speaking during an interview with BBC News Pidgin, Jimmy stated that he has scriptural backing for his appearance, adding that people should avoid using their opinions to judge him.
He said, “God has called me into this new season of my life. All my focus is on the church. This new position is a big responsibility. As for my dreads, most people don’t know I can back up everything I do with scripture.
“As a pastor, I can tell you that God told Samson in the Bible not to cut his hair, that means long hair is never a bad thing. If you also say the pastor is keeping a beard, I can tell you that the Bible says that when Jesus was tortured, they pulled hair from his face.
“If you say I am putting on earrings, I can tell you that when the children of Israel left Egypt and wanted to make a golden calf, they collected jewelry, earrings and rings from their sons and daughters.
“You should not use your personal opinion to judge me. A personal opinion is different from saying something is sinful. Anybody can do what they want.
“In 2009, I was ordained as a minister and became a pastor in 2012. I was the lead pastor of the youth church until 2021.”
In a post released via his Instagram page on Tuesday, Bakre said the birth of his new baby feels like a totally different life mission and such a huge blessing.
The actor, who revealed the name of the baby girl as Kamila, also appreciated his wife for being strong and pushing through the past nine months.
He wrote, “Kamila A. Bakre.
“Thank God for His miracles. You are a miracle. What a feeling!Girl dad! Feels like a totally different life mission and such a huge blessing. Babuuuuuu @anu.bakre, you do this one.
