Miliki FM a radio station designed to redefine indigenous broadcasting through old-school music, breaking news and professional programming, has won the prestigious National Media Community Awards 2023. Miliki 101.3 FM emerged winner in the “Outstanding Radio Station of the Year’ category at the high-octane event held recently at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba, Lagos.
For the management of the station, it was indeed a memorable occasion as the Miliki FM shone brilliantly like the Northern star when they stepped out to receive the award.
Miliki FM uses Yoruba as its language of operation with a commitment to exhibiting the Nigeria culture and making every listener important and happy.
Receiving the award on behalf of the station, Miliki FM OAP, Miss Amoo Oluwatosin, said it was a thing of honour that Miliki FM got honoured with the award.
Miss Oluwatosin representing the General Manager, Miliki FM, Mr Niyi Ojemakinde, promised that the station would not relent, but work even harder to sustain the standards in the nation’s broadcast industry.
