According to a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Oluwaseun Abolurin, the deployment is in line with the directive of the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to ensure the protection of transmission lines, towers, oil and gas pipelines, power installations, and other critical infrastructure.

The State Commandant, Mr. Adedotun Keshinro, felicitated with the Muslim community and urged citizens to embrace peace, sacrifice, kindness, love, and unity.

He also warned criminal elements, particularly vandals, to desist from their nefarious activities or face the full wrath of the law.
