NSCDC Vows to Flush Out Economic Saboteurs in Anambra State

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Anambra State has pledged to combat illegal activities such as mining, vandalism, unlicensed private security outfits, and petroleum products black market racketeering.

 

State Commandant Olatunde Maku made this commitment during a courtesy visit from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University officials, led by Prof. Mathias Ananti, Deputy Vice Chancellor. Maku highlighted the Command’s achievements, including anti-sit-at-home operations and arrests of illegal private security operators and miners.

He commended the NSCDC Commandant General for operational support and accepted an invitation to the University’s Climate Change Summit and Tree Planting Awareness Campaign.

The visit strengthened the partnership between NSCDC and the University to enhance security and promote a healthy environment.
