…Commends Amaechi and Other Lovers of Democracy for Standing Against the Evil Occupation of Rivers State by Wike and his Thieving Gang of Undemocratic Forces

…Consoles with Families of APC Faithful Who Were Murdered on Election Day While Defending Nigeria’s Democracy

…Assures that the Open Electoral Robbery will be Exposed and the People’s Mandate Recovered

Erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has condemned the outcome of the Governorship and House Assembly Election in Rivers State over the crude display of desperation by Gov. Wike in connivance with compromised INEC officials and security agents to foist on Rivers people concocted results which does not reflect the decision of the electorates.

In a statement made available to media houses in Port Harcourt Eze said Gov. Wike and his co-conspirators at INEC and Police succeeded in making mockery of Rivers State and her people with the scary reports of voter intimidation, coercion, disenfranchisement, ballot stuffing, assault on voters, falsification of results and many more atrocious engagements including the killing of over a dozen APC members who stood to resist gun-wielding ballot snatchers in military camouflage in Ahoada axis of the state.

To support Wike over the number of people killed in the process of forcefully installing a protege is condemnable and the rape on democracy must be visited with justice.

With the open rejection of Wike and his thieving cabal by Rivers People which was very glaring during Amaechi’s tour round the state to campaign for APC and which prompted Wike’s threat on non-indigenes to stay away from the elections, there was no way any Rivers State man or woman would have voted for any candidate presented by Wike to warrant the figures being paraded by INEC. It is not possible and must be condemned.

Eze urged party faithful and Rivers Electorates to keep faith as facts and documents are being assembled to let the entire world and the judiciary know what evil that was perpetrated in Rivers State by people who have arrogated to themselves the destiny of our dear State during both the presidential and gubernatorial election.

The party Chief lamented that his anger over the glaring demonstration of evil in the polity is further aggravated by the gang up of APC leadership and undemocratic forces in Nigeria including the presidency to silence Amaechi forgetting all that the former Governor sacrificed in making the presidency of Muhammadu Buhari possible and the number of Rivers State people that lost life and limbs to make that dream come true.

Eze encouraged Amaechi not to give up on Nigeria, noting that hence God still rules in the affairs of men and He will justly bring judgement on all those who feel that running down others is the best way to be relevant in the politics of this country.

The APC stalwart condoled the family of the APC APC leader Ward 10 and campaign Cordinator for Ahoada West Local Government Area, Mr. Chisom Lenard, who was murdered while resisting election thieves in military camouflage moving round stealing election materials for the PDP as well as over 10 others who were killed by rampaging PDP thugs while defending Nigeria’s democracy.

He condemned the attitude of INEC and police who instead of acting independently and professionally too, opted to conspire with Wike to work against the people during the elections. The result manipulation at Obio/Akpor Council was done in the presence of the Police and Military men who gave cover and denied agents of other parties access into the council.

INEC officials and NYSC Corps Members who served as SPO and Presiding Officers willingly doctored results to give PDP advantage just to receive $200 and $100 respectively and all of these happened under the supervision of the police and other security agencies, particularly in Obio/Akpor local government council secretariat. “This is not good for democracy”, Eze noted.

Commending the APC Governorship Candidate, Pst. Tonye Cole for his encouraging words in his broadcast after the fraudulent election, Eze reiterated that with the floodgate of evidence of fraud and manipulation across the state, the sham will not stand and power will definitely return to the people.

Court Okays Ganduje’s Suspension From APC

The Kano State High Court has granted an ex parte order suspending the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, from the party.

The order, issued by Justice Usman Malam Na’abba on Tuesday, also barred Ganduje from presiding over any activity of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).

The decision stemmed from an ex parte motion filed by Dr. Ibrahim Sa’ad, representing members of the executive committee of APC in Ganduje Ward of Dawakin Tofa local government area of Kano State.

The Ward Exco members were part of a group of nine ward executives who earlier announced Ganduje’s suspension from the party on Monday.

The court, therefore, gave an interim injunction directing all parties involved, including the APC, its NWC, Kano State Working Committee of the party, and Ganduje himself, to maintain the status quo as of April 15, 2024, pending a full hearing on the matter set for April 30.

Justice Na’abba further ordered the Kano State Working Committee of the APC to refrain from interfering with the decision of the Ganduje Ward executives of the party, which was endorsed by a two-third majority as stipulated by the party’s constitution.

The ward executives acted on a petition submitted by a party member from Ganduje’s polling unit, urging them to investigate the accusations bribery and corruption against the APC national chairman, to protect the party’s image and President Bola Tinubu’s anti-corruption efforts.

While the ward chairman and secretary reportedly failed to act on the petition filed on April 8, nine members, led by the legal adviser, went ahead to pronounce Ganduje’s suspension.

Their decision was immediately rebutted by the state working committee of the party, who accused the ward executives of anti-party activities and suspended them for six months.
