Withdrawal of National Legal Adviser from Rivers APC Tribunal Matter: Don’t Panic

…Eze Tells Party Faithful

…Says National Secretariat Acted in Good Faith

…Assures that All Stolen Mandate Will be Restored.

Erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has urged party faithful in Rivers not to be dismayed over the news of the withdrawal of the party’s National Legal Adviser, Henry Bello, from the matter before the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja, noting that the withdrawal is inconsequential and of no adverse effect on the case of Pastor Tonye Cole and other candidates of the party who are in court to challenge the broad day rape on democracy and rule of law by election thieves in connivance with other conspirators in INEC and and the Police Force.

News had filtered-in two days ago that Bello had been abjured from the case and his withdrawal signals a pitfall for the party and its candidates at the tribunal. It was also rumored that the development is not unconnected to the unholy romance, political dialogues and deals between the President-elect, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and outgoing Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, targeted against the party in the state to undermine and degrade former Transportation Minister, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi.

Reacting to the development in a statement made available to media houses, Chief Eze said Bello had struck a deal with Gov. Nyesom Wike in an underhand attempt to frustrate the party’s cases at the tribunal, particularly the governorship, in a bid to sway the court to validate the electoral heist of March 18, 2023, jointly perpetrated by INEC, Gov. Wike, the Police and some groups of armed thugs.

Eze said a stealth peek into the surreptitious affair of Bello and Wike revealed a strong and deliberate attempt to hamper the steady progress recorded by the party and its candidates at the tribunal in a bid to subvert the will of justice. And that revelation informed the decision by the national leadership of the party to relieve Mr. Henry Bello, the National Legal Adviser of the party, of his official roles in the matters of the Rivers APC at the tribunal in the interest of justice.

Eze further highlighted that Tinubu owes Wike nothing so far the 2023 general elections is concerned as Wike never worked for Tinubu but worked for his own selfish agenda to stay afloat from his drowning state as a party less political leader. Time will surely teach him the foolishness in his style of politics even as he has been listed amongst those to banned by the USA Government in securing VISA to visit America

Commending the APC National Secretariat for acting promptly to save the tribunal cases from Bello’s double-dealing, Eze said it smacks of gross misconduct for a national officer of a party in the status of a legal adviser to engage in actions that run in diametric contradiction to the party’s legitimate quest to pursue justice. He called on the party not to end at merely relieving him of his roles in the Rivers APC tribunal case, but to go a step further to deal with him as a sabotage in line constitution of the APC.

Eze however expressed disappointment over the unchecked desperation of Gov. Wike to again deploy the scarce resources of the state on kickbacks to legitimize the illegitimate victory he claims over March 18 Governorship and state Assembly election in the state.

The party chieftain called on the teeming supporters of Rivers APC and the entire Rivers people to continue in praise to the God Justice until the mandate freely and willfully given to Tonye Cole and other candidates of the party during the 2023 elections, by Rivers electorates are restored through the instrumentality of the courts.

Eze Debunks Tony Okocha’s ‘Ignorant’ Claims on Nigeria-China Loans, Describes Call for State of Emergency in Rivers as ‘Dead on Arrival

Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has dismissed comments made by Tony Okocha regarding Nigeria’s loans from China for rail projects during the administration of Mohammadu Buhari.

Okocha had alleged that the loans have put Nigeria in a difficult situation and accused former Transportation Minister, Chibuike Amaechi, of leading the borrowings.

Eze described Okocha’s comments as “a noisy exudation of appalling savagery” and “flamboyant ignorance.” He explained that the loans were taken in compliance with the Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2007, and the low interest rate of 2.50% per annum reduces the Interest Cost to Government.

The loans have also led to the creation of jobs and the development of infrastructure in the country.

Chief Eze also rejected Okocha’s call for a state of emergency in Rivers State, describing it as “dead on arrival.” He accused Okocha of being a “political tradesman and conflict entrepreneur” who is working with the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, to create an unhealthy environment in the state.

Chief Eze urged President Tinubu and Nigerians to disregard Okocha’s comments, which he described as “the blabbing of an unstable and politically stranded individual.”

Peter Obi Knocks Tinubu Over Claim That Nigerians Are Not the Only Ones Facing Poverty

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, has berated President Bola Tinubu’s recent claim that Nigerians are not the only ones facing poverty.

Obi took to the social media platform, X, to express his disappointment with the President’s remarks, which he believes downplay the severity of Nigeria’s challenges.

President Tinubu had recently stated that Nigerians are not alone in facing poverty. He went on to suggest that eliminating banditry and terrorism would allow farmers to return to their farms and help address the issues.

The President made the comment in Lagos on Monday when he received a delegation from the National Assembly who came to felicitate with him on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

Reacting, Obi said there are numerous struggles facing Nigeria, including poverty, insecurity, hunger, poor education, high infant mortality, corruption, unemployment, and inadequate infrastructure and healthcare. He said there is need for concrete solutions and a clear vision to address these issues, rather than mere comparisons with other countries.

He said, “The problems facing Nigeria are well-known to all Nigerians.

“We are the poverty capital of the world, among the most insecure people on earth, among the hungriest, have poor education quality and the highest number of out-of-school children, high infant mortality, corruption, unemployment, the highest income gap between the poor and the rich, high corruption perception index, infrastructure and healthcare challenges, and more.

“It is disheartening to hear those in charge, who were hired to address our problems, make statements like “we are not the only ones struggling with poverty and hunger.” Instead of merely acknowledging that other countries face similar challenges, we need to hear a thorough plan of action to tackle our unique struggles. We require concrete solutions and a clear vision to address these issues, not comparisons that downplay our circumstances. I urge those in leadership positions to offer tangible solutions, not mere reminders that others face similar challenges. We need a comprehensive approach to tackle our specific challenges, not generalizations that dismiss our experiences. A true leader provides direction, guidance, solutions, and reassurance in times of crisis.

“This is the hallmark of visionary leadership and a trait of nations that are making progress and advancing their development. They don’t simply state the obvious but offer a roadmap for overcoming obstacles.

“Just like a pilot, who doesn’t just announce turbulence; they assure passengers that they will do everything possible to ensure a safe journey. Only then can we begin to trust that our country is in capable hands, working towards a brighter future for all Nigerians.”
